Play Therapy

For kids and teens that don’t want to sit and talk about their feelings.

When words fail, play speaks!

Play therapy can be used with children of all ages. Developmentally, children and teens struggle with identifying their feelings because their brains are still developing the skills to identify emotions. Play Therapy gives children the skills to express their emotions in a healthy way.

Play Therapy for Kids

Children utilize art, toys, and sand to identify, communicate, and process their feelings. Your child may share that they utilized paint to express their feelings or worked with the play therapist to build their world in the sand with toys.

Play Therapy allows children to express themselves through play, which is something that comes naturally to them.
